The restaurant’s location within Setapak Platinum Walk and Thai Food Street adds convenience. 1. Resonable price RM 30 for adult with variety choice of steamboat and grill 2. Parking provided in front of the shop and basement 3. Restaurant clean 4. Toilet clean 5. Quite pack during night
Delicious Thai cuisine. Includes steamboat, grill, buffet & drinks. Open from 4 pm to 12 am. Dine in only. Parking rate rm1.00 from 6 pm to 6 am at basement. It is located in Thai Food Street. Inside Setapak Platinum Walk. Come & enjoy it.
Enjoy big dinner with lovely friends today. we have a group of 20 person and almost all adult. supposedly we have 5 table at most because 4 is to crowd. Better arrangement next time. The food is good and delicious, eat all you can until no more. I love it drinks so much, so tasty, 8-10 times repeated the thai green tea and orange (it taste old school). The seafood is fresh and lovely. I also suggested if the restaurants can provided air cooler inside because it too hot, no good airway ( I sweaty like running a miles), and for the calculation per person i thing the waiter need to count more properly because there is 4 children under age of eleven and tall not above than 100cm. He counted it for rm20/child. Better calculation next time.
Rate this by comparing the restaurant to other steamboat restaurants around klang valley. Variety of foods for selection and the price is ok. Clean place with friendly staff and surau provided for muslim. The only upside down is that they serve spicy tomyam soup which may be a bit too spicy for kids and their prawn can be considered as not so fresh. Overall is ok.
What I liked about it : it is still affordable. We paid 33RM each. Although I was surprised because as what I understood the 30RM price already includes the taxes/fees. But it is okay. : we paid cash but they do accept debit cards (not credit card). : I love love love the ice cream. So yummy. : the toilet has improved, based on my last visit. What can be improved : the server is friendly but service is a bit slow. We were able to get the food already but the stove is still not set up. Given that it was not yet packed when we arrived. : this particular time, the shrimp were small. Note : it can packed during peak hours so I would suggest to WhatsApp or call them for reservation.
There are three steamboat Thai buffets near by, this one with the most options and very affordable. The staffs are friendly and nice, the food are alright, the hygiene situation needs to be improved a bit, but with price I can’t complain that much.
